We want your experience with CicadaCo to be as clear and enjoyable as possible.

These terms outline how our tours, bookings, and policies work, so you know exactly what to expect when travelling with us.

Bookings & Deposits

To secure your tour date, a non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of reserving your booking.

This deposit confirms your place on the journey and allows us to begin planning and preparing your experience.

Please note:

• A booking is only considered confirmed once the deposit has been received.

• Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure planning and reservations for your journey.

Changes to Your Booking

While we always aim to deliver journeys exactly as planned, certain changes may occasionally be necessary due to weather conditions, safety considerations, availability, or other factors beyond our control.

CicadaCo reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to itineraries where needed to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance.

Your insurance should cover, at minimum:

• Trip cancellations

• Medical expenses

• Personal belongings

• Travel delays or interruptions

CicadaCo cannot be held responsible for losses or expenses that could have been covered by insurance.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change, and we do our best to be as flexible as possible within the realities of tour planning.

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund terms apply:

• More than 30 days before the tour:

50% refund of the total tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit)

• 15 to 30 days before the tour:

20% refund of the total tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit)

• Less than 14 days before the tour:

Unfortunately, no refund can be offered at this stage, as arrangements will already be in place.

How to Cancel a Booking

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.

The effective cancellation date will be based on the date and time we receive your written notice, not the date it was sent.

We encourage guests to notify us as soon as possible if plans change

Health, Safety & Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to participate in their chosen journey.

By booking with CicadaCo, you acknowledge that travel in natural environments carries inherent risks and agree to participate at your own discretion.

Your safety is always our priority, and all activities are planned with care and professionalism.
